Life Coaching services are available for adults and are designed to help clients improve their quality of life by educating them on strategies they can use to enhance their performance in a variety of areas of their lives. Coaching clients seek to improve their life satisfaction. Life Coaching does not focus directly on relieving psychological pain or treating cognitive or emotional disorders.
With the support of a coach, clients can take action to move towards their desired goal(s). The successful client is not excessively limited in his/her ability to take action or overly hesitant to make progress. Life coaching concentrates primarily on the present and future. Counseling/Therapy services are provided to children, adolescents, adults and families and are designed to address areas of concern that client(s) would like assistance with. The counselor/therapist will collaboratively work with the client(s) to assess the presenting issue and develop a treatment plan and course of action. Counselors may examine the client's past as it relates to current level of functioning in order to promote healing and growth. Counseling sessions are growth oriented and may utilize a variety of psychological approaches in order to best meet the unique needs of the cient. Life can present us with mental, emotional, relational, physical and spiritual challenges that can all be seen as opportunities for growth.
Counseling services are performed in-person and are covered by many insurance plans. Check with your plan prior to your first session so that you know 1) if your plan requires a pre-authorization, 2) if you have a deductible that must be met before sessions are covered and 3) what your co-pay responsibility will be. Payment is due at the time of service. All necessary paperwork will need to be signed in order for your insurance company to be billed. Many clients prefer to pay for services out-of-pocket for privacy reasons, or to avoid dealing with insurance hassels altogether. Payments may be made via cash, check or major credit/debit card. Case Management services are designed to help clients and their families ensure that the client's care needs are met through the health care system. With the support of a case manager, clients and involved family members, or others closely involved and approved by the client, work together to improve, support or maintain the client's quality of life. Case managers assess needs and work with the client and members of the client's treatment
team to achieve optimal care. Advocating for the client through facilitating care coordination, communication and collaboration are the services at the heart of case management.
